Project M is a British artist who grew up in a creative environment. After attending Art School she earned a degree at a Fashion College. She then worked in the fashion industry in London as a “Technical Designer”.
In 2005, she became a full time artist and moved to California. The different culture, objects and places she saw opened her eyes to new possibilities. These big changes in her life had an effect on her and her artwork.
M is inspired by things seen in her daily life and her love of colour. She either makes stencils by hand or paints in blocks of colours when creating her art. Recently she has been using Photoshop to enhance her designs. In this Limited Edition series M has transformed real locations into abstract paintings and embarked on a series of cartography inspired art.
